After Denmark, it was onto Berlin, where I met up with Alexandra (who I hadn't seen since high school)...  We spent a couple days seeing the major sites of the city - educating this blonde Californian on history in other parts of the world...

Brandenburg Gate

Brandenburg Gate...  It hadn't been seen for 4 years cause it was being refurbished, and it was unveiled the week before I got there...  Talk about timing!

The German Parliament building

The German Parliament building...  We got to go up to the top and you can see the Berlin skyline from there...

Column of mirrors

This nifty column of mirrors reflects light down into the room where the members of the parliament actually meet...
