Twice during the quarter, they decide that they own us for the weekend, and take us to more fieldtrip stuff in and around London, but places we wouldn't have time to see in a normal afternoon fieldtrip... For the first one (middle of October), we saw Stonehenge and Stourhead (this really cool estate with a gorgeous lake behind)...
For the second one (middle of November), first they took us to St. Paul's Cathedral, then on an overnight trip to Wells and Bath. Wells had a really cool cathedral, and Bath is a little city built where the Roman baths built centuries ago are still standing... Not quite in London, yes, but still fun...
